 On July 15, 2015, Prime Minister Modi launched the Skill India Mission. Under the three flagship schemes of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, there are more than 2.27 Crore beneficiaries till February 2025. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, through the NSDC, runs the mission, which includes schemes such as PMKVY to boost the skill level of workers in India.
